Colombia - Bogotá, Cartagena & Coffee Triangle

Upon arrival in Bogotá, transfer to the hotel, where a Welcome-Cocktail and a typical life music group awaits the guests. After some time to relax, a light dinner buffet will be served.

Flight to Armenia, situated in the famous Coffee Triangle and transfer to the restaurant “Rancho El Eden” for lunch. Then drive to the “Farm Combia” where guests will get an experiential immersion in the world of coffee at the house own coffee plantation. Further, they will learn about the process of coffee production. Team competition and a personal mixed coffee is waiting for the guests. At the end of the day, transfer to the hotel.

Drive by local jeeps, called “Jeepao”, to the little town of Salento, where guests will start a competition between several teams playing the national sport game “Tejo”. Visit of a coffee roasting factory and tasting of the different kinds of coffee. Drive through the beautiful landscape of Cocora Valley, known for the palm tree “Palma de Cera”, the highest of the world, inclusive Welcome Cocktail “Canelazo”. Through a small ritual guests will feel closer to the palms original story while planting of one of these rare plants. After a short walk, guests will enjoy a typical lunch and see a professional demonstration of how to load and unload a mule. Now, they will compete each other by loading a mule at the shortest time. Dinner will be served back at the hotel.

Flight via Bogotá to Cartagena. A tropical Welcome Cocktail and lunch awaits the guests. In the afternoon they will spent time at the beach by playing different games, dances or matches. Afterwards, dinner at the hotel.

Drive up to the monastery of La Popa, from where guests will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the city and the bay. Then proceed to the San Felipe de Barajas fortress, which is located on the Hill of San Lázaro. It is listed, together with the historic center of Cartagena as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally guests will get to know the old town of the city by treasure hunting. After lunch, the fishing village La Boquilla will be visited by canoes. Typical Caribbean music and dances as well as rum cocktails are waiting for the guests.

Full day excursion to the Rosario Islands. After welcoming by cocktails, guests can swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters or just relax at the long beaches. In the evening they have the possibility to enjoy the nightlife in a discotheque and have a fantastic night! Before midnight, transfer back to the hotel.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Bogotá from where guests will take theis individual return flight.
